Registration open now for Center for Healthy Living weight management series

April 18, 2014

The Center for Healthy Living will offer two start dates in May for its 12-week weight management series. The center is taking registrations now.

The program is free and open to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff. Spouses and same-sex domestic partners covered on a Purdue medical plan are also eligible for the program.

"Weight management involves many aspects, including everything from how weight affects our health to nutrition information to tips and tricks that help us change how we eat," says Millie Fenneman, the center's practice administrator. "The Center for Healthy Living has experts in all of these areas, and we bring them together for this program."

Fenneman says that program participants will have access to a registered dietitian, health coaches and an employee assistance counselor.

Those wishing to participate should call Fenneman at 49-45505.
