Leadership nominees sought from among rising sophomores

April 17, 2014

Nominations are being accepted through April 25 for the 24th Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Retreat. Nominees must be outstanding students who will be sophomores in the fall and possess strong leadership potential.

The retreat, to be held Sept. 6-7 at Camp Tecumseh near Brookston, is an intensive overnight program involving team building, leadership inventories and personal development. The retreat also will introduce participants to concepts surrounding strengths-based approaches to inclusive leadership.

Each student who participates will pay a registration of $20. Included in this fee are transportation, meals, conference materials, a T-shirt, and overnight lodging. A partial scholarship is available to students who need financial aid.

Nominations must be made at https://boilerlink.purdue.edu/form/start/38642 by April 25. Nominated students will receive an invitation to attend the retreat, and students will be accepted on a first-come basis.
