Indiana 211 is a free service that’s available 24/7/365 that connects Hoosiers with help and answers from thousands of health and human service agencies and resources right in their local communities –  quickly, easily and confidentially.

The tools and resources offered via Indiana 211 are available for a variety of different things, many of which could play a part in an individual’s mental health either by helping reduce stress regarding a situation or finding mental health care assistance if needed.

Indiana 211 offers resources to assist individuals with many needs, such as:

  • Clothing/Personal/Household Needs
  • Disaster Services
  • Domestic Violence
  • Food/Meals
  • Health Care
  • Housing
  • Income Support/Assistance
  • Individual/Family and Community Support
  • Job Readiness

There are no eligibility requirements, income standards nor any other rules; anyone can utilize the resources offered. There are three easy ways to access Indiana 211:

  • Text your zip code to 898-211
  • Visit org – individuals can search by zip code and/or topic or search by topics already listed on the web page
