Awarded annually during Indiana’s Disability Awareness Month, the Focus Awards recognize those affiliated with Purdue University who have made an outstanding contribution to the furthering of Purdue University’s commitment to disability accessibility. Nominations can be made to honor Students, Faculty, Staff, or Student Organizations. Nominations of alumni and retirees will also be considered.
The Office for Civil Rights accepts nominations year-round for the Focus Awards.
The 2027 Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month Reception on Wednesday, March 31, 2027, at 3:00 PM EST in the Dauch Alumni Center: Edward Prusiecki ’39 Banquet Room on the West Lafayette campus.
