Purdue baseball held a special commencement ceremony Tuesday (May 10) at Alexander Field to recognize the program's spring graduates. President Mitch Daniels presented diplomas to the eight players, who will be away for a game at Northwestern during traditional commencement ceremonies. Operations and Maintenance staff on Tuesday (May 10) installed a new banner featuring Purdue alumna Sirisha Bandla on Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering. Bandla, who earned her bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, became the 26th Purdue alumni in the Cradle of Astronauts with her suborbital flight on Virgin Galactic's VSS Unity on July 11, 2021.
