New mentored grant writing opportunity through the Innovation Hub for the National Science Foundation

March 4, 2022

Hello researchers,

I wanted to make sure you saw the announcement on Friday of a new Innovation Hub program – a mentored proposal writing experience focused on the NSF IUSE program. This is a joint venture between Innovation Hub and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships. I’m offering this in my Innovation Hub role, while leveraging my researcher experience ($8M in IUSE funding) and my recent experience as a NSF program officer (2019-2020) to support our community of researchers interested in writing winning NSF grants to the IUSE program. This opportunity specifically focuses on higher-levels of funding (Levels 2 and 3 of the IUSE solicitation).

Please share this with people in your units who you think would be good candidates for this program. Ideal candidates for this mentored cohort experience are ready to propose at the Level 2 or 3 scope and budget, but don’t have significant experience as PI on grants of this size.

Please refer interested parties with questions directly to me at innovation-hub@purdue.edu. Thanks for sharing this in your units!
