Rethinking Teaching and Learning in the Era of ChatGPT: Redesigning EEE/CE355 Assignments

Project Overview

This project aims to 1) develop ethics and best practice guidelines for students to use ChatGPT as a learning tool; 2) design materials and assignments that require student-ChatGPT interactions to teach information literacy; and 3) thoroughly and systematically redesign CE/EEE 355 assignments considering students’ use of ChatGPT and how ChatGPT could enhance student learning. While this project focuses specifically on CE/EEE 355, the project outputs and insights will also benefit other courses facing similar challenges and opportunities.
