Angela Haan

Executive Assistant

Angela Haan believes the best support work is invisible—when the logistics disappear, innovation doesn’t have to wait. As Executive Assistant in Industry Partnerships at a top-tier research institution, she works at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping turn institutional goals into reality.

Her path here wasn’t a straight line. Angela spent much of her early career as an administrative operations manager at a fertilizer plant before returning to academia in 2013 to write and manage federal grants for Tippecanoe School Corporation. She joined Purdue in 2021.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master’s certificate from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing several AI micro-credentials.

Outside of work, Angela is a mother of three who grew up on a family farm in Tippecanoe County. She enjoys cookouts, tailgating, and cultural experiences with friends and family.
