Be aware of falling snow and ice from buildings; slick conditions possible in coming days

The campus community should watch for falling snow and ice from facility rooftops and edges as recent temperatures and rain are causing the buildup to melt.

Additionally, temperatures are forecasted to fall below freezing for the coming days. Wet surfaces are likely to freeze and create hazardous walking and driving conditions. Related information about reducing slip and fall injuries was recently published in Purdue Today.

Individuals should obey posted signs and barricades near facilities, use extra caution and allow extra time when traveling, and be aware of changing weather and travel conditions.
