Portion of Second Street to close Wednesday morning

In order to facilitate crane activities, Second Street and the south portion sidewalk from North University Street to the alley just west of the Telecommunications Building will be closed Wednesday morning (Aug. 22) beginning at 7:30 a.m. and lasting several hours. The University Street Parking Garage entrance and exit on Second Street will remain accessible from Waldron Street while Second Street is unavailable.

Work is weather dependent, and the same timeline on Friday (Aug. 24) is the alternative closure if work cannot be completed on Wednesday.
