Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage closes 6 p.m. Aug. 10; fully reopens Aug. 13 with restored traffic flow

The Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, and remain closed for the duration of the weekend while work is performed. All vehicles must be removed from the garage prior to this time to avoid being towed.

The south half of the garage has been closed throughout the summer for maintenance. However, both the north and south portions — including all entrances, exits and levels of the garage — will be reopened and available for use by the morning of Monday, Aug. 13. Lanes will be restriped during the full garage closure to revert each level to the typical, one-way traffic patterns.

Upon fully reopening, the top level of the parking garage will return to reserved spaces for C-Garage Northwestern permits only as indicated by purple signage.

Motorists should exit the garage by 6 p.m. on Aug. 10, seek alternate parking while the closure is in effect, and use caution in the garage on and after Aug. 13.
