Increased pedestrian impacts by Materials and Electrical Engineering Building

Work for the Materials and Electrical Engineering Building (MSEE) plaza renovation continues with fencing extended towards the Electrical Engineering Building (EE). The area between the Physics Building (PHYS), MSEE, EE and Northwestern Avenue is closed. The crosswalk from the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage remains available with access through MSEE, though some restrictions may be in place. The east-west sections of sidewalks between PHYS and MSEE and MSEE and EE are closed.

Periodic southbound lane restrictions or closures along Northwestern Avenue in this area may be utilized throughout the project for material deliveries. The project is expected to be complete by the start of the fall semester.

Pedestrians should seek alternate routes, and motorists should remain alert to possible restrictions and obey all posted signs.

Questions may be directed to Dwayne Rodgers, project manager, at (765) 494-6629 or darodgers@purdue.edu.
