Sidewalk, plaza closures by Materials and Electrical Engineering Building through August

The first half of the Materials and Electrical Engineering Building (MSEE) plaza renovation will begin Monday (May 22). The area between the Physics Building (PHYS), MSEE and Northwestern Avenue will be closed in order to facilitate this work. The crosswalk from the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage will remain available, though some restrictions may be in place. The sidewalk between PHYS and MSEE will be closed.

Periodic southbound lane restrictions or closures along Northwestern Avenue in this area may be utilized throughout the project for material deliveries. Information about the second half of the project will be shared in the coming weeks. The entire project is expected to be complete by the start of the fall semester.

Pedestrians should seek alternate routes, and motorists should remain alert to possible restrictions and obey all posted signs.

Questions may be directed to Dwayne Rodgers, project manager, at (765) 494-6629 or darodgers@purdue.edu.
