Access drive changes, sidewalk restrictions near Life Science Ranges and Drug Discovery to take place April 28

A new, permanent access drive to the Life Science Ranges, Life Sciences Animal Building and Hansen Life Sciences Research Building (HANS) will open to traffic off South Russell Street on April 28. The temporary access drive to these buildings, located off Clinic Drive, will close to traffic on the same day.

A portion of the sidewalk at the northwest corner of Drug Discovery will be closed beginning April 28 and is anticipated to reopen by the end of July. Access from PGH to DRUG will remain available via this route. Those wishing to go from PGH to HANS will need to walk around Agricultural and Biological Engineering and use the main doors off South University Street.

All work is weather dependent, and the schedule may shift accordingly. Motorists and pedestrians should obey all posted signs and use caution in the vicinity.
