• Preferred vendors must be utilized when possible.  Negotiated rates are available through Concur, AAA Corporate Travel and the employee discount code webpage. 
• Employees are expected to reserve standard rooms – upgrades are only allowed when at no additional cost 
• Conference rates can be utilized with AAA by providing the agent with the booking code or the travel can use the conference-provided booking link 
• AirBnb/Vrbo and similar options are allowable if there is a cost savings – multiple University travelers sharing accommodations, extended travel, etc.
