Jessica is a senior executive with deep experience leading large, complex organizations across higher education and state government. She currently serves as Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services at Purdue University, where she oversees a broad portfolio including procurement, travel, card services, retail dining, parking, transportation, conferences, airport operations and the Purdue Memorial Union, including the Union Club Hotel. Known for combining strategic vision with disciplined execution, she has delivered significant financial results through operational modernization, service integration and growth-focused partnerships while advancing service models that improve the student and customer experience.
Over the course of her career, Jessica has led major procurement and organizational transformation initiatives that generated substantial savings, new revenue and long-term institutional value. Her accomplishments include securing the return of commercial air service to the Purdue University Airport, advancing major hospitality and dining partnerships, modernizing campus transit and parking operations, and building high-performing procurement functions at both Purdue and in multiple state governments. She is recognized for her leadership in financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement and large-scale change management.
Prior to joining Purdue, she served in cabinet-level roles under Governors Mike Pence and Eric Holcomb as commissioner of the Indiana Department of Administration. Earlier, she was the State of Tennessee’s first chief procurement officer, leading significant procurement reform initiatives. Robertson began her public-sector career as an Indiana Governor’s Fellow.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana State University.
Outside of work, Jessica leads a busy life alongside her husband enjoying their three active children, dog, cat and leopard gecko. She is a life-long learner who enjoys reading and wandering Indiana.
