Purdue Food Co. launches Grubhub mobile pickup ordering on campus

Purdue Food Co. has launched Grubhub mobile ordering, providing students, faculty and staff with a new way to order food and beverages from participating retail dining locations on campus.

The service is currently available at Purdue Memorial Union retail dining locations within the Atlas Family Marketplace and allows guests to place orders through the Grubhub app for pickup. Users can connect their Purdue account to use Dining Dollars, Retail Dining Membership funds and other accepted payment methods.

The launch marks the first phase of Purdue Food Co.’s partnership with Grubhub. Additional dining locations will be added in the near future as the service expands across campus.

Purdue students who connect their Purdue account through Grubhub are eligible for complimentary Grubhub+ membership benefits. To celebrate the launch, Grubhub is offering 50% off a first order with the code FIRSTBITE50 through Sept. 30, 2027.

Looking ahead, Purdue Food Co. is working with Grubhub and Avride to re-introduce autonomous food delivery on campus. The delivery robots will operate through the Grubhub platform and are expected to launch later this fall, restoring the delivery option following the departure of Starship Technologies earlier this year.

Additional information about participating locations, mobile ordering and future delivery services will be shared through Purdue Food Co.’s Instagram as the service continues to expand.
