Campus water main flushing scheduled for next two weeks

Crews will be flushing all campus hydrants at the West Lafayette location the next two weeks, Monday (July 27) through Friday, Aug. 7.
Pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists should avoid areas where work is actively underway and areas with standing water.
As a result of the flushing, water from faucets may be discolored for a short period of time. Although this does not affect the water quality, individuals should allow the faucet to run for a few moments to remove the discoloration.
