Nimitz Drive scheduled to close this summer for repairs

Nimitz Drive, just west of S. Martin Jischke Drive, is scheduled to close May 18 to facilitate repair work. The closure is expected to last through early August. The Discovery Park Lot entrance off of Nimitz Drive will be periodically closed to vehicular traffic during that time.

Additionally, Arnold Drive will closed for a week during the Nimitz Drive closure. The Arnold Drive closure will be from Nimitz Drive to just before the Discovery Parking lot entrance. The exact schedule has yet to be determined.

Motorist are asked to use the Arnold Drive entrance to the Discovery Park Lot as it will remain open during both road closures.
