Plan ahead for summer Wood Street Parking Garage closure
The Wood Street Parking Garage will close on Monday, May 18 to facilitate repair work over the summer. It is expected to reopen ahead of the fall semester in August.
Faculty, staff, select students and campus visitors should plan ahead for parking accommodations as follows:
- Alternative A permit, reserve permit, university vehicle and ADA permit parking will be available in the nearby Grant Street Parking Garage (garage access card required), Pierce Street parking lot (A permits will be accepted in signed spaces beginning May 18) or Dauch Alumni Center parking lot. Additional locations are identified on the West Lafayette Campus Parking Map.
- Campus visitors should utilize ParkMobile spaces in the area.
Campus visitors should download the ParkMobile app (Google Play/Apple Store), register and create an account including payment information to get started. Select the desired length of time and complete payment through the app. A brief video explains how to use ParkMobile, and a map of all ParkMobile spaces is available online or within the app.
Additionally, the sidewalk along S. Grant Street on the west side of the garage will be closed this summer.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate parking and routes.
