Similar to emergency blue light telephones in West Lafayette, SafeZone provides an easy way to receive help at the Indianapolis location. It’s a location-based app that will help you stay informed and provide the ability to request assistance quickly and discreetly. It includes personal safety tools, emergency communication and wellbeing resources.
Download SafeZone now from the App Store or Google Play.
As a reminder for students, the safe ride pilot program provided through Lyft is also available. Students are able to book rides with Lyft to and from several campus destinations on and around the Indianapolis location.
Other safety resources available in Indianapolis include emergency text notifications through PurdueALERT and the Safe Walk program at 317-274-SAFE (7233).
