Action Required: Building Emergency Plans (BEPs) to be migrated from Cascade to WordPress
As the Building Deputy, if you are not the BEP Developer, please ensure the BEP Developer receives this communication.
As part of the ongoing web migration process to meet the April 24 ADA accessibility deadline established by the U.S. Department of Justice, all Building Emergency Plans (BEPs) are being migrated from Cascade to WordPress on the new Emergency Preparedness website.
To complete this transition, Building Deputies and BEP Developers must create their updated BEP in WordPress. Existing BEPs in Cascade will not be migrated automatically. Developers must recreate their BEP in WordPress using the new templates and guidance.
All BEPs must be updated and created in WordPress by April 13 to ensure they are included on the new website.
