Adjusted Indianapolis operations due to different fall breaks: Oct. 13-14 and Oct. 20-21
Purdue University and IU Indianapolis have different fall break schedules, which will impact facility hours and service availability in Indianapolis during both periods. Below is a summary of what to expect to ensure smooth travel and planning.
Purdue University Fall Break: Oct. 13-14
IU buildings and services will be open with normal operations. The following changes are planned during the two-day break:
- Student Center (SCPI) and Sigma Theta Tau (STT): Closed; key fob required for building and staff access.
- Campus Connect Shuttle between West Lafayette and Indianapolis:
- No operations Oct. 13-14.
- Normal operations through Oct. 12 and resuming Oct. 15.
- Individuals who plan to travel to one location over the weekend leading up to fall break and need to return prior to Oct. 15 will need to make personal arrangements.
IU Indianapolis Fall Break: Oct. 20-21
Normal facility hours will be in place for all academic buildings, Hine Hall (IP) and University Tower Dining during break. Jagline transit will continue normal operations during that time.
Campus Center (CE) and all services will be closed Oct. 18-19 and will have the following adjusted hours and operations on surrounding days:
- Adjusted hours (7 a.m.-7 p.m.): Oct. 17, Oct. 20-21
- Dining locations close at 3 p.m. on Oct. 17 and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 20-21
- The bookstore closes at 4 p.m. every day
