Reminder: Safe + Sound Weeks begins Monday (Sept. 22)
Purdue will kick off Safe + Sound Week on Monday (Sept. 22) with a series of activities highlighting the importance of workplace health and safety. The weeklong event offers engaging opportunities to promote awareness and best practices across campus.
The week will kick off with an information desk and light refreshments in Hampton Hall, room B245, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the week’s activities, connect with others and enjoy some food while getting started. The closing event will also be held in Hampton Hall, room B245, at the same time, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., to wrap up the week and celebrate participation.
AO staff are invited to take part in a variety of interactive opportunities, including safety-themed trivia and games designed to make learning about safety both fun and practical. Participation not only strengthens Purdue’s culture of safety but also provides a chance to win prizes throughout the week.
All employees are encouraged to spread the word and invite colleagues to get involved. Details on activity participation can be found on the Purdue Safe + Sound webpage. For additional questions, contact Aissata Toure at tourea@purdue.edu.
