Indianapolis services: An overview of transit, mail and more

With the start of a new academic year, Purdue University faculty, staff and students in Indianapolis are reminded of several services and resources that are available throughout the year. Helpful links are available on the Indianapolis Operations webpage.
Campus Connect shuttle
- The fall schedule for the free Campus Connect shuttle, which runs between West Lafayette and Indianapolis, began on Aug. 16.
- Maps of pick-up and drop-off locations, schedules and how to access the app for ride reservations is available on Purdue’s Auxiliary Services website.
Jagline transit
- Purdue students, faculty, and staff have free access to the Jagline. Routes and more information are available on the IU Indianapolis Parking and Transportation Services website.
Mail services
- Weekday external campus mail and USPS mail are handled by IU Indianapolis for several campus buildings.
- The Student Center, Lux on Capitol, North Hall and STT are serviced directly by USPS and other carriers.
- Weekly intercampus mail services between West Lafayette and Indianapolis are provided by Purdue and UPS.

Non-academic space reservations
- Purdue-managed space should be considered first for meetings, events or other non-academic purposes.
- Outdoor space is reservable at Boiler Park with amenities including tables, chairs, umbrellas and yard games.
- IU Indianapolis space may be considered and reserved if the locations above are unavailable or insufficient.
