Asset Manager to replace Work Manager for facilities staff beginning June 16
Purdue’s Facilities Operations staff will transition to a new mobile work order management platform beginning Monday (June 16). The new app, Asset Manager, developed by SAP, will officially replace the current Work Manager application, which will be retired on June 27.
Asset Manager retains the core functionality of Work Manager while offering opportunities to implement additional features in the future. This upgrade is aimed at improving workflow efficiency and providing a more user-friendly experience on mobile devices.
All affected staff are required to use Asset Manager beginning June 27. Training sessions are scheduled through tomorrow (June 13), and Outlook invitations have been sent to those affected. Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) will be provided during training. For those unable to attend, limited follow-up training will be offered on an as-needed basis.
To support a smooth transition, in-person assistance will be available June 16–27 in the Physical Facilities Service Building (PFSB), room 1239. Department supervisors and leadership teams will also be informed of designated subject matter experts who will remain available to assist with questions and troubleshooting after this period.
