South Russell Street to remain closed as construction projects progress
South Russell Street, just south of Mitch Daniels Boulevard, will remain closed for construction on the Life Science Ranges Phenotyping Greenhouse Building and the Nursing and Pharmacy Education Building. The closure is expected to last until August.
Beginning Aug. 1, the road will reopen to northbound traffic only. It will remain open to northbound traffic only through December 2026 when the Nursing and Pharmacy Education Building is expected to be complete, at which time both lanes of traffic will be open.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should continue to use caution in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate routes.
