MacArthur Drive to remain closed this summer as construction on residence hall continues

As construction on a new residence hall continues, the following travel restrictions will remain in place around Hillenbrand Residence Hall:

  • MacArthur Drive from Third to First Streets will remain closed. All parking along this section of MacArthur Drive remains unavailable, and alternate Residence Hall permit parking is available in the nearby McCutcheon Drive Parking Garage.
  • CityBus riders are encouraged to continue checking the real-time GPS tracking of buses on the CityBus website or MyCityBus mobile app.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should continue to use caution in the area and obey all posted signs and detours.

The project is expected to be completed in June 2026.
