The Purdue Farmers Market is scheduled to resume May 1. The market will take place every Thursday through October 30 on Memorial Mall in West Lafayette. The market will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Purdue Farmers Market is organized by Purdue Conferences and Event Design. Several vendors gather to provide a variety of local fresh produce, herbs, plants and flowers, meats and prepared food, including lunch items and desserts.
“We are excited for the opportunity to bring the community together to enjoy local vendors and businesses and all they have to offer,” said Nick Bonora, director of Conferences and Event Design. “All the while guests can enjoy the warmer weather and a beautiful spot on campus.”
Guests without a parking permit may pay to park in the Grant Street Parking Garage or in the Wood Street Parking Garage ParkMobile spaces. Those with an “A” permit may park in the Grant Street Parking Garage, Wood Street Parking Garage or the lots between Marsteller and Sheetz streets. These locations allow access to the market within a five-minute walk. Guests without an “A” permit should use ParkMobile for visitor parking during the summer.
Please note there will not be a market on May 22.
