Erin was offered a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) grant to teach in Germany. Her study of German language and culture influenced her to pursue the Fulbright experience. Having taught German to other students drew her to the idea of teaching English overseas. Fulbright offers the chance to continue developing her knowledge of English and German while growing her teaching ability.

 

Erin dedicates herself to cultivating a supportive welcoming environment for all students. Not only does she have experience personalizing lessons and adapting them to student needs, but she cares about their well-being. She encourages her community to live authentically and to recognize that their community can only thrive through their active participation and advocacy. These experiences combine to prepare Erin for her future career as an educator at the university level.
