Tara Saunders

Tara Saunders (History): My international colleagues from England, Scotland and Norway were wowed by Tara Saunders and her behind-the-scenes Zoom hosting for a recent launch of a special collection I co-edited: “The Politics and History of Menstruation: Contextualising the Scottish Campaign to End Period Poverty.” Tara has far-and-wide duties as academic program manager in the Department of History, and she coordinated the event perfectly. My colleagues were impressed with her skill in managing the attendees and sorting chat questions for our moderator. Her expertise allowed us to communicate internationally with other academics, advocates and NGOs and deliver a flawless presentation of current and timely research.
