Michele Dekle (Sponsored Program Services): Writing grant proposals and the paperwork involved with meeting the requirements of the funders and also of the University is a big challenge for faculty who just want to teach and do their research. My most recent proposal took around six months to submit with a process that kept introducing new variables and delays to navigate, throughout which Michele was pleasant, patient, persistent and effective in helping me get the proposal out the door and accepted. -- Michael Witt (Purdue University Libraries)
