March 30 is deadline to submit 2023 FSA, LPFSA, DCFSA, HRA claims

Human Resources is reminding Purdue employees who used 2023 flexible spending accounts — health care flexible spending accounts (FSAs), limited purpose flexible spending accounts (LPFSA) and/or dependent care flexible spending accounts (DCFSA), as well as health reimbursement arrangements (HRA) — that the deadline to submit claims for reimbursement is March 30. Any funds remaining in accounts after March 30 will be forfeited. Note: The deadline is March 30 due to 2024 being a leap year.

Employees needing to submit a claim can use the HSA Bank Reimbursement Request Form or can file a claim online at www.hsabank.com or through the HSA Bank app by logging in, clicking or tapping "File a Claim," selecting the account and following prompts to submit supporting documentation and enter the claim details.

Purdue Global employees

Purdue Global employees who enrolled in a 2023 health care flexible spending account (FSA) and/or dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA) with Payflex should submit claims for reimbursement by the March 30 deadline. Any funds remaining in accounts after March 30 will be forfeited.

Note: In 2024 HSA Bank became the provider of pretax accounts for Purdue Global employees; however, 2023 FSA and DCFSA accounts will finish out with Payflex through the normal claim filing deadline of March 30. Individuals will need to submit paper claims for reimbursement on their 2023 qualified expenses.

For more information on FSAs, please visit the Purdue Global FSA benefits page.
