Purdue waives graduate application fees for current students, alumni

Pursuing a graduate degree or certificate program at Purdue University is now even more accessible for current Purdue students and alumni.

The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS) has eliminated graduate application fees for currently enrolled Purdue students and degree-earning alumni of Purdue’s West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Purdue Northwest, creating a new opportunity for Boilermakers to take the next step in their academic or professional journey.

All degree-seeking and graduate certificate applicants are typically required to pay a nonrefundable application fee of $60 for domestic applicants and $75 for international applicants. Under the new policy, current Purdue students and alumni who apply to a graduate program can have that fee waived automatically by listing Purdue as their current or previous institution in the application.

The new waiver reflects the university’s commitment to lifelong learning and helps create a seamless path for students and alumni to continue their education as their goals and careers evolve.

Purdue offers nationally and internationally recognized graduate programs across a wide range of disciplines, including programs consistently ranked among the nation’s best, providing opportunities to expand career options and deepen knowledge in a chosen field.

Current students and alumni are encouraged to explore Purdue’s graduate degrees and certificates and learn more about application requirements through OGSPS.
