Faculty Fellows program now accepting applications for 2024-25 academic year

The Office of Residential Academic Initiatives is accepting applications for Faculty Fellows for the 2024-25 academic year. Administrative, salary-exempt faculty and staff are eligible to participate (full-time Purdue graduate students are not eligible).

Since its founding by President Frederick L. Hovde in spring 1966, the Faculty Fellows program has been creating opportunities for Purdue faculty and staff to connect with students in the residence halls.

Faculty Fellows are paired with one floor of a residence hall and over the year get to know those students through floor meals, hall events and floor programs. Faculty Fellows events have included nature walks, study skills sessions, cooking lessons, attendance at Purdue Convocations events, game nights, resume review opportunities and many more.

Those interested should submit applications by Feb. 26 for priority consideration/placement for next year. To apply or read more, go to the Faculty Fellow program website or check out this article about the program published in Purdue Today last fall. If you have any questions about the program, contact Tom Robson, assistant director for faculty engagement, at trobson@purdue.edu
