Rx Savings Solutions offers Healthy Boiler workshop on lowering prescription costs

Representatives from Rx Savings Solutions will offer a virtual Healthy Boiler workshop in June to Purdue employees. “The Easiest Way to Lower Prescription Costs” workshop will be available on June 22 and June 29.

Many prescriptions offer at least one way to pay less for the same treatment; however, very few consumers know all the options or where to look.

In conjunction with Purdue’s prescription plan, Rx Savings Solutions is a free, confidential program for Purdue employees that does it all – automatically.

The workshop will show employees how to:

• Activate their account.
• Use the web or mobile app.
• Recognize savings opportunities for themselves and dependents.
• Use features like the medicine cabinet and medication reminders.

A Q&A session will follow the workshop.

“Rx Savings Solutions is a valuable benefit to Purdue employees, offered at no cost to them,” said Candace Shaffer, senior director of benefits in Human Resources. “Our employees and their families have seen significant cost savings as a result of using Rx Savings Solutions. Members are automatically alerted by Rx Savings Solutions via text or email if they are paying too much for their prescriptions.”

Rx Savings Solutions is offering the workshop twice to better meet the diverse needs of the Purdue community:
