John Martinson Honors College accepting proposals for Breakthrough Research Award
The John Martinson Honors College (JMHC) is currently accepting proposals for the Breakthrough Research Award. The Breakthrough Research Award aims to support high-impact research or creative projects led by faculty and conducted with JMHC undergraduate researchers.
Proposals are being sought for high-quality research projects that also bridge the divide between Purdue’s research and teaching missions. There will be three awards between $50,000 and $70,000.
For 2023-24, research themes are Social Injustice and Climate and Environmental Crisis.
An upcoming webinar on May 17 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. ET will provide information and answer any questions. Registration information can be found here.
Visit the JMHC website for a detailed call for proposals.
The JMHC welcomes proposals from all disciplines. Applicants (principal investigator) must be faculty (tenure-track, clinical, lecturer) at Purdue University West Lafayette. Research staff interested in pursuing this award are welcome to inquire about potential eligibility.
Proposals may be submitted starting May 15 through July 15.
