CILMAR to host training for Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory administrators

The Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR) will host a qualifying seminar for faculty and staff interested in becoming qualified administrators of the Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory (BEVI).

Offered by CoreCollaborative International, the two-week training includes synchronous discussions and various asynchronous activities, giving participants the opportunity to engage with peers in groups and take time on their own to apply new knowledge and skills.

The seminar consists of 20 hours of foundational training, with two synchronous meetings set to take place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 12 and 26.

BEVI experts will provide mentorship and training in assessment and evaluation design, data analysis and debriefing. The BEVI assessment is used widely across Purdue’s West Lafayette campus to measure development of intercultural competence, critical thinking, emotional resilience and more.

Faculty and staff interested in registering for the training can email Jodie Wallace at cilmar@purdue.edu to receive a $500 discount.
