Spring Super Saturday program registration available for gifted, talented kids

Registration is open for the Purdue Gifted Education Research and Resource Institute’s (GER2I) Spring Super Saturday, a program for children of high ability who are currently enrolled in pre-kindergarten through grade 8. The 2023 Spring Super Saturday will take place on six consecutive Saturdays starting Jan. 28. The registration deadline is Jan. 14

Saturday sessions are 9 a.m. to noon ET for pre-kindergarten to second grade, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for grades 3-8. All classes will be held in-person on Purdue’s campus. The registration fee for pre-kindergarten to second grade is $250.00 per student, and the registration fee for grades 3-8 is $280.00 per student.

The 2023 Spring Super Saturday courses are: 

Pre-K and kindergarten (9 a.m. to noon)

  • Visual Math
  • M.O.V.S! – Kinesthetic Training

Grades 1-2 (9 a.m. to noon)

  • Microscopic Monsters and the Scientists Who Slay Them

Grades 3-5 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

  • The Social Media Jungle
  • Chemistry in Action 

Grades 6-8 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

  • Architects on the High Rise!
  • History of Hip Hop
