SPARK will boost teams pursuing large research grants

Purdue’s Office of Research has launched the SPARK (Supporting Partnering for Advanced Research Teamwork) Program to empower teams to pursue large-center research awards.

SPARK will provide up to $100,000 to four Purdue teams – with each team representing at least two colleges - for use with critical development activities linked to external grant proposals of at least $7 million. Additional support at college and department levels will be forthcoming.

“With SPARK, we will give teams added support to win significant research grants while also enhancing Purdue’s reputation as an interdisciplinary research powerhouse,” said Bryan W. Boudouris, associate vice president for research.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. April 14.  Full program details can be found here.
