President to resume statewide visits; faculty listening sessions to continue with provost
President Mung Chiang has announced the resumption of his statewide visits to reach the rest of all the counties in Indiana, with a particular focus on broadband connectivity as a foundation for economic opportunities.
Chiang’s listening tour began in August 2022 and included hundreds of hours of meetings with tenure-track/tenured, clinical and research faculty members, staff members and students. In addition, Chiang has conducted college-by-college roundtables; visits to residence halls and dining courts; meetings at Purdue’s regional campuses, statewide locations and Extension offices with the goal of reaching all 92 counties by July 2023; and alumni and partners gatherings in various cities around the country and the world.
Listening sessions with Purdue West Lafayette faculty will continue with Provost Patrick Wolfe. Wolfe will host up to five faculty members in each half-hour listening session. Dates and times for March and April and signup information are available here.
