Feedback sought in promotional process for captain position with Purdue University Police Department

The Purdue University Police Department is currently conducting a promotional process for the position of captain. As part of this process, two internal candidates will be making Jan. 19 presentations in the Córdova Recreational Sports Center’s Room 2265 (Howard Taylor Conference Room).

The topic for the presentations, which are open to the campus community, will be “Utilizing Community Policing to Manage a Campus Police Department, Build Community Trust With Partnerships and Develop Future Police Leaders.”

Lt. Andy Standifer will present at 2 p.m. and Lt. Gabe Argerbright will present at 3 p.m.

PUPD is seeking feedback on the presentations from attendees, and feedback forms will be provided at the door. Attendees may also utilize an online form to submit feedback.

The presentations are open to the public and will only be accessible in person; online viewing will not be available.
