CILMAR seeking applications for Growing Intercultural Leaders program

Purdue’s Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR) is inviting applications for its Growing Intercultural Leaders (GIL) program.

GIL is a professional development opportunity that challenges faculty and staff to set personal goals for their own intercultural development and professional goals that will help them nurture intercultural growth in students or in others they teach, mentor and advise.

The program can be entered at one of two levels – scholarship and fellowship. Both levels call for a commitment of one year and come with a different set of expectations and funding. All participants are supported by meetings with a mentor and other learning opportunities.

Two scholars and two fellows will be accepted to the 2023-24 program. Applications are due April 7.

More details about the GIL program can be found on the CILMAR website. For more information, contact Aletha Stahl at stahl23@purdue.edu.
