MaPSAC awards grants to 16 employees for professional development

The Management and Professional Advisory Committee (MaPSAC) has awarded individual professional development grants to 16 management and professional staff members for the fall application cycle.

Grants up to $750 each are awarded twice a year. MaPSAC presented a total of $10,028 through its Fall 2022 grants. The volunteer committee reviewed 21 eligible applications. The spring application period will open in February and be available to support activities occurring from Jan. 1, 2023, to Dec. 31, 2023.

Grant recipients, their positions and the areas in which they work are:

  • Jill Blume, enology specialist, Food Science
  • Eric De Araujo, senior instructional designer, course production, teaching and learning technologies, Purdue Online
  • Jason Dufair, full stack developer, Purdue Online
  • Ellen Gundlach, senior managing director, Purdue Online
  • Kyle Habig, data analyst, associate, Evaluation and Learning Research Center
  • Kimberly Heath, senior administrative assistant, ITAP-Purdue System Cloud
  • Song Kang, captain of special services, Purdue University Police Department
  • Allison McKay, Summer Start coordinator and success coach, Summer Session
  • Julie Peretin, professional practice programs administrator, Office of Professional Practice
  • Joel Rasmus, managing director, CERIAS
  • Rhonda Resler, data analyst, ID card administrator, Purdue ID Card Office 
  • Hanae Sakata, project manager, Ag Online/Digital Ag
  • Pamela Sari, director, Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center
  • Diana Stone, field extension educator-HHS, Field Extension
  • Allison Stubbs, student success coach, Purdue Promise
  • Linnette White, assistant director, faculty and staff development, Agriculture
