Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the University-wide Study Abroad Fair on Thursday (Sept. 8). The fair will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union’s South Ballroom.

Representatives will be available to provide information about Purdue’s academic programs around the world, which are available to all majors. Students can learn details about course options, accommodations and costs, including details related to Purdue’s Study Abroad scholarships.

“Attending the Study Abroad Fair really helped me determine the type of program I wanted to take part in and, of course, the destination,” says Kirsten Burke, study abroad’s student outreach coordinator, who studied in South Korea and Mexico. “This will be the first fair since the pandemic, and since most students currently on campus will never have had the opportunity, this event is particularly important. We are urging faculty and staff to help us spread the word far and wide.”

Purdue offers over 400 weeklong to yearlong study abroad programs, all of which are eligible for Purdue’s study abroad scholarships.

Past study abroad participants will be on hand to share their experiences with prospective students.
