Purdue Global commencement set for Saturday
More than 1,200 graduates will take part in Purdue Global commencement ceremonies Saturday (Aug. 13). Two in-person ceremonies are scheduled at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. – 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET – followed by a virtual ceremony at 6 p.m.
The graduates reside in all 50 states – including 69 Indiana residents – plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, as well as Bermuda, Canada, Columbia, Germany, India, Japan, Thailand and the United Kingdom. Some 234 graduates are affiliated with the military.
Chancellor Frank Dooley will address the graduates – 632 of them in-person and 580 virtually.
Jacque Yates, program analyst lead for the CDC Foundation, will provide the keynote address. She earned a master’s degree in public health from Purdue Global in 2021.
Saturday will mark Purdue Global’s 14th commencement since its formation in 2018 and the third in the nation’s capital.
