Staff memorial ceremony to be pre-recorded, viewable Friday

Purdue West Lafayette will honor 13 staff members who died during 2021 in a ceremony that will be pre-recorded and made viewable online on Friday (April 29).

The staff memorial website will go live at 1 p.m. Friday. Also, the chimes of the Purdue Bell Tower will ring 13 times at 3:15 p.m. Anyone who would like to gather at the Bell Tower in respect of those commemorated is welcome. 

The recorded ceremony will have remarks by President Mitch Daniels as well as a welcome by Melissa Geiger, chair of the Campus Support Staff Advisory Committee (CSSAC), and a closing by Cameron Ward, chair of the Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (MaPSAC).
