Experiential Education Community of Practice schedules spring events

Purdue’s Office of Experiential Education is hosting a series of virtual Community of Practice events this semester. The Experiential Education Community of Practice is for individuals who share a common passion about experiential education and want to learn how to improve their work through interactions with one another. All are welcome to join the Community of Practice.

The Office of Experiential Education will host three online events this semester on topics of interest within the experiential education community. Each event will feature an expert-led discussion as well as time for networking and fellowship. 

  • Jan. 25 (Tu): 3-4 p.m. Topic: Teaching Excellence Initiative.
  • Feb. 23 (W): 2:30-3:30 p.m. Topic: Experiential education partnerships.
  • March 29 (Tu): 10:30-11:30 a.m. Topic: Reflection.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to register online. Zoom information will be emailed to upon completion of the form. For more information, contact Jennifer Dobbs-Oates, director of the Office of Experiential Education and clinical associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, at jendo@purdue.edu.

The Office of Experiential Education was created to carry out the experiential education portion of the Transformative Education 2.0 initiative. The office is part of the Office of the Provost, in the Teaching and Learning Division.
