Student Activities and Organizations seeking potential advisors

The Purdue Student Activities and Organizations (SAO) office is seeking faculty and staff who may be interested in serving as advisors for student organizations.

SAO has created a database for faculty and staff to help students and potential advisors find an appropriate match. Purdue boasts more than 1,000 student organizations with a wide range of interests including Greek life, academic pursuits, outdoor hobbies, the arts, ethnic organizations and more.

Individuals who are interested in learning more about serving as an advisor are encouraged to watch a short video and complete an advisor interest form. Interest forms are logged in an internal database and will be shared with a student organization only if there is a potential match.

Learn more about student organizations by visiting BoilerLink. Individuals with questions can contact the SAO office via email.
