Name, organizational changes for Campus Planning and Sustainability department

The former Campus Planning and Sustainability department is now called the Campus Planning, Architecture and Sustainability department. This change in nomenclature more accurately describes the department’s areas of focus, and the organizational changes better align the resources and workloads of each individual.

The functional role of this department remains the same: to align the physical campus with the mission and programmatic goals and initiatives of the University. With these organizational changes, the department will be better positioned to be more strategic, integrative and proactive in the services that are provided to campus customers. These services include, but are not limited to, college-level master plans, technical expertise to ensure a cohesive architectural aesthetic across the University, landscape architecture and sustainability initiatives.

Questions about this change or the provision of services may be directed to Michael Gulich, senior director of campus planning, architecture and sustainability and university architect, at mgulich@purdue.edu.
